Open-Plug appoints Gilles Delfassy as Chairman of the Board of Directors

Sophia Antipolis, France and Taipei, Taiwan ROC – November 19th, 2008 – Open- Plug today announced that Mr. Gilles Delfassy has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors.

As the leader of Texas Instruments’ wireless business from its inception until 2007, Gilles Delfassy built a multi-billion dollar operation and the industry’s leading supplier of semiconductors for the wireless handset market. TI created the OMAP™ platform under his leadership, which was the first widely adopted application processor to enable multimedia on mobile phones. He and his team also developed the single-chip mobile phone technology called “LoCosto,” bringing affordable mobile phones to people in China, India and Africa for the very first time.
